Applications: Laser Technology

The term “LASER” is an acronym for Light Amplification by Simulated Emission of Radiation.

Laser operation occurs when concentrated energy is applied to a laser medium, in our case CO2 gas, to stimulate molecules to spontaneously emit heat. The heat is focused to a small, intense beam that vaporizes materials used in applications such as cutting, engraving, etching, welding.

Backed by years of laser applications experience and technical development, Impact Lasers Inc. offers state of the art laser cutting systems that produce extremely high quality clean parts for a broad range of industrial laser cutting and engraving applications.
